Kako the Designer

Graphic Designer | Performance Artist

"Kako" comes from the Greek word for "chaos" and represents a theme that embodies our human experience in today's fast-paced world of technology. We as humans are inherently chaotic -- seeking peace within the ever-present madness --  and it is this struggle for balance that is so important, as it consummates our lives and pushes forth our progress and innovation.

Additionally, the practice of design is chaotic at its very core. Designers must literally and figuratively balance the visual stimuli they receive from their environments with client expectations in order to arrive at the perfect, harmonious composition.

By adopting the pseudonym of Kako, I seek to imbue my work with balance as a fundamental concept that creates harmony from chaos.
